Yunus Karataş graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law in 2021. In the same year, he was accepted into the Master's program in Public Law with a thesis at Marmara University Institute of Social Sciences. He completed his master's degree in 2024 with the unanimous acceptance of his thesis titled "Additional Right Of Defense Under Criminal Procedure Law No 5271". He mainly works in the fields of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Human Rights Law and Compensation Law. He speaks English fluently.
